TeleSafe is designed to protect your privacy while allowing you to communicate over the phone with other users. Here’s how it functions:
Unique PIN for Each User
- Every user on our platform is assigned a unique PIN. This PIN is crucial for making and receiving calls via TeleSafe.
Making a Call with TeleSafe
-
Toll-Free Number and PIN: When you're ready to call someone through our site, you'll be given a toll-free 1-855 number along with the PIN associated with the user you're calling.
-
Anonymous Caller ID: The person you’re calling will see an incoming call from a 1-855 number. This ensures that both parties’ personal phone numbers remain confidential.
-
Connecting the Call: Dial the toll-free number and then enter the provided PIN when prompted. This connects you directly to the other user while keeping both phone numbers private.
Ensuring TeleSafe Works Properly
- Verify Your Phone Number: For TeleSafe to work, your phone number must be verified on our platform. To learn how to do this, see "How do I verify my phone number?"
Note on PIN Expiration
- Remember, each PIN is valid for only 4 hours. If you plan to call after this period, you’ll need to generate a new PIN by returning to the user’s profile.
By using TeleSafe, you can communicate with confidence, knowing that your personal contact information is secure. This system is part of our commitment to offering safe and private communication options to our users.
