No. As we are a self-serve service and not an agency, we do not pre-screen users who register on our sites.
However, once you have selected a candidate, you can purchase a background check for them through our site. There are now a few ways to do this:
Purchase through your Settings:
- Log into your account and navigate to your Settings
- Next, select 'Subscriptions and Payments'
- Scroll down to the section titled 'Background Checks'
- Click 'Run A Check'
- A new window will open where you will be required to enter the candidate's country, state/province and email address.
- Before clicking Next, check the box under the candidate's information to confirm the following statement: “ We intend to hire this candidate, dependent on the results of the background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.”
- Click Next to continue to the payment page and finish your request.
Purchase through your Inbox:
- Log in to your account and click on 'Inbox'
- Select the user you wish to run the background check on. Click on 'Run Background Check' (a shield icon with a checkmark inside)
- The next steps are the same as above: A new window will open where you will be required to enter the candidate's country, state/province and email address.
- Before clicking Next, check the box under the candidate's information to confirm the following statement: “ We intend to hire this candidate, dependent on the results of the background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.”
- Click Next to continue to the payment page and finish your request.
Note: After submitting your request, we will contact the candidate for further information. The background check process takes 3-5 business days. The results will be sent to the candidate, and you can discuss them with them once they are received.
