What's the difference between a monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscription?

The majority of our sites* allow you to choose from one of our three paid subscription plans: monthly, quarterly, or yearly. There is no difference between these paid plans aside from the term in which they are billed. All subscriptions offer users unlimited communication via either written message or secure phone call (Telesafe). 

A Basic (free) plan is also available, but does have limitations to communication through the site. For more information on our Basic plan, see here: What do I get on the Basic plan?

Choosing the monthly plan means you would be billed recurrently every month until cancellation. For example: if you sign up on January 1, your subscription would automatically renew again on February 1, March 1, and so on until you choose to cancel.

Choosing the quarterly plan means you would be billed recurrently every three months (once a quarter) until cancellation. For example: if you sign up on January 1, your subscription would automatically renew again on April 1, July 1, and so on until you choose to cancel.

Choosing the yearly plan means you would be billed recurrently once a year until cancellation. For example: if you sign up on January 1, your subscription would automatically renew again on the next January 1, then the next, and so on until you choose to cancel.

Choosing either the quarterly or yearly plan, will also provide you with a discounted rate vs. our monthly rate (i.e. the longer you commit to, the lower the cost would be compared to committing to the same time-frame on our monthly plan).

Both our Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy - which are agreed to upon the creation of your account - state that all subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled and are considered non-refundable. As we are a self-serve service, it is your responsibility to cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to to continue using our services.

Please ensure you make note of when your subscription was purchased so you know when it is set to renew.

*With the exception of child care centres registered on ChildCareAdvantage.com, where we offer three monthly plans (Bronze - 1 listing/month, Silver - 3 listings/month, & Gold - 5 listings/month) and families registered on CanadianNanny.ca, where our monthly and quarterly plans follow the same guidelines as outlined above, but our yearly plan is converted to a VIP membership that provides you with additional access to our other 5 main sites (Sitter.com, PetSitter.com, HouseSitter.com, ElderCare.com, and Housekeeper.com) as well as payroll services.
