How do I delete a message?

If you have too many messages in your Inbox to keep track of or think a conversation is no longer relevant, you have the option of archiving messages to help clean up your Inbox. Archiving a message ensures that its content is still accessible, but is simply stored in a separate folder so that it no longer appears directly in your Inbox.

You are able to delete messages using either a computer or a mobile device. To learn how to do this on each device, you can follow the instructions outlined below:

Computer:

To delete/archive a message on your computer, simply click on the "Inbox" link at the top of the page, then select the message you would like to delete, and click the trash can icon located in the top right-hand corner of the message area.

Once you click the trash can icon, that message will automatically be shifted over to your "Archived" folder and will no longer appear in your Inbox.

You can always unarchive a message using the same method, but by going through your Archived folder instead of your Inbox. Once you unarchive a conversation, the message will appear back in your Inbox.

Mobile:

To delete/archive a message on a mobile device, simply navigate to the menu option (three parallel bars in the top right-hand corner of the page) and tap "Inbox" from the dropdown menu. From there, tap on the message you would like to remove and then tap on the three parallel dots in the right-hand corner of the message screen. A drop down menu will appear with several options; tap "Archive," which will have a trash can icon next to it to delete the message.

Once you select "Archive," that message will automatically be shifted over to your "Archived" folder and will no longer appear in your Inbox.

You can always unarchive a message using the same method, but by going through your Archived folder instead of your Inbox. Once you unarchive a conversation, the message will appear back in your Inbox.

Although the above examples are from Housekeeper.com, you can follow the same steps on all our sites.
