Can I put my subscription on hold?

If you have previously purchased a subscription, but find yourself in a situation where you are unable to use it or do not feel it is working for you at this time, our customer support team would be happy to assist in putting your subscription on hold until you are able to use it again.

We understand that sometimes issues do arise that may interrupt your use of our site, so we're definitely willing to be accomodating in these instances. If for some reason you need to put your search on hold, we can help make sure your subscription purchase does not go to waste.

To do this we would cancel your current subscription and apply a credit for the remaining days left on it to be applied at a later date. The remaining days would be calculated based on the day that you reached out to us to request this hold until the end of that subscribed period (i.e. one month, quarter, or year from the initial purchase).

For example: if you registered for a monthly subscription on January 1 and contacted us on January 15, a 16-day credit would be available to you for future use.

To ensure that there are no mix-ups moving forward we would make a note on your account of the days available and would apply it when you contact us to reactivate your subscription.

 That being said, there are a few other rules to keep in mind:

  1. You are only able to put your subscription on hold once. Once we cancel your subscription, apply a credit, and then reactivate your subscription, you are not eligible to put it on hold again. Your reactivated subscription will continue consecutively until the expiration date is reached.
  2. The credit offer does not expire. Even if a long period of time goes by between when you ask to put your subscription on hold and when you contact us to reactivate it, we will still honour the time allotted to you.
  3. Credits are non-transferrable. Once you put your subscription on hold, the credit gained can only be used in connection to the account it was issued to. We will not be able to apply the credit to an alternate account.
