How do I search on site?

All of our sites offer uniquely catered search filters that allow both employees and employers to find a match that best suits their needs.

As each of our sites do operate with different purposes (i.e. housekeeping vs. pet sitting will have very different needs), the search filters are not the same across all sites, but do offer a better way to select the options that are requirements for you in your search.

NOTE: filling out as much detail on your own profile can also help users better find you as well. For more information on updating your profile information, please see here: How do I edit my profile?

Additionally, all searches will reset the next time you visit the page, so be sure to open profiles in new tabs if you want to ensure your selected filters remain in place.

You are able to access these search filters using either a computer or a mobile device. To learn how to do this on each device, you can follow the instructions outlined below:

Computer:

If you are browsing from a computer, navigate to the Jobs page in the top menu. There you will find the search filters on the left-hand side. All of the options are listed in a separate column right next to the search results.

To use the filters, check the boxes next to the options that are most important to you and the search results will be automatically adjusted to reflect your selections.

There are also options to enter a keyword search to filter your results, filter by location, or reset your filters so you can start again if needed.

NOTE: selecting too many filters can limit the results that are available in your area. For best results, only select the filters that you feel are most necessary to you.

Mobile:

If you are browsing from a mobile device, navigate to the Jobs page by clicking the menu option (three parallel lines) in the top right corner. Once selected you will be taken to the Jobs page where an option labelled "Show Filters." If you click on this, a drop down menu will appear where all of the different filter options are listed.

To use the filters, check the boxes next to the options that are most important to you and the search results will be automatically adjusted to reflect your selections.

There are also options to enter a keyword search to filter your results, filter by location, or reset your filters so you can start again if needed.

When you are finished selecting your filters, you can either keep scrolling down the page to view the search results, or go back to the top and click "Hide Filters" to collapse the drop down menu.

NOTE: selecting too many filters can limit the results that are available in your area. For best results, only select the filters that you feel are most necessary to you.

Although the above examples are from Housekeeper.com, you can follow the same steps on all our sites.
