We are excited to announce a new feature for the employees on site that empowers you to take control of your professional profile. Now, you can conduct a background check and showcase it with a badge on your profile.

How It Works:
- Log into your account and navigate to My Profile. On desktop, the option is in the top left corner of your screen. On mobile or tablet, it is in the hamburger menu (☰) at the bottom left of your screen.
- Scroll to the My Background Check section and click Run a self-check.
- On the next page, you'll be able to read more about what a self-check entails. Click Get Started to begin.
- Verify that your name and location are accurate, click the "I certify that my information above is accurate, valid, and legal" checkbox, and Proceed to payment. If you need to make changes to your name or location, click the Edit buttons next to the information that needs updating.
- Fill in your payment information and click Submit. The process can take up to 5 business days.
Once the check is complete, a badge will appear on your profile, indicating a valid background check.
